Well, surprise, surprise - it's 5.45pm and he hasn't showed up - despite his office telling me he left Halifax at 8.30am.
I suspect he's bottled out - I told him that the crew were keen to meet him and see him demonstrate the right way to use the dolly. Either that or he thinks he's being clever by messing up my day (which he hasn't as I work from home). What a twat.
Interestingly, Jenni - the 'woman' I have been dealing with mostly up to now - has just emailed me to say she doesn't care any more because she is leaving tomorrow. Rats/sinking ship?
So, looks like court action then.

I have had dealings wth Studio and Stage and tried to talk to Jenny but was told she was deaf and unable to use the phone !
and I was told she left last November.
Without being too unkind, that might explain a few things!
Well, she was still working there in July - at least I am assuming it was her. Having only spoken twice in the early days to a chap called Richard and since then having had emails from all sorts of other people who never give their last names, I am beginning to wonder if there ARE any other people at Studio & Stage!
Strange - I have emails from 'Jenni' or is it 'Jenny' from July and August saying that I'd be receiving my missing items and still haven't had anything.
THESE A$$HOLES HAVE DONE ME OUT OF £600 over there CHEAP crap dolly and track. I've called some clown called Richard and he's given me EVERY EXCUSE under the sun. I just want my money back now because its PATHETIC. I've been waiting for a year left messages on the phone and e-mail and still nothing. Written letters and no answer if theres a way to get my money back I'm with you guys.

the guy is called richard, i actually met him, and his wife is jenni...only have texts from her, does she exist and they have £950.oo of my money and £500, of the other person.. we both have been given hundreds of excuses... and the a few items that have been delivered are rubbish,he never answers his phone and then texts back .... wished never met him, he has ruined the opening of my new studio
I find it amazing that they are still about in 2010. I was swindled in 2007 and my credit investigator visited their plac,as he spoke to a guy in another unit on the estate about them, they must have been tipped off as he watched as "Richard" crawled into a van and drove away.
Luckily I could write off amount owed but hope one day to return to pursue

First excuse "fitter Michelle was sick" all on text - would not speak,! next excuse, it was snowing ! then we were informed that "Heather" could not speak she was deaf ! then excuse after excuse came, delivery day after delivery day came and went !
We rang the address on the invoice, which turned out to be a catering suppler (really nice guy), he informed us that he had at least 100 people coming or calling looking for this Richard Joss (aka etc) one guy was even fighting with him in the car-park, I could go one about this LOW LIFE PIECE OF CRAP THAT MUST LIVE UNDER ROCKS !, but i wont as i know there a lot of people that feel the same way ! check out Facebook group - studioandstage, richardoss he was on ebay as "thefilmdepartment" & exstock2011 To name a few ! This guy is a total lowlife - How he is still getting away with it after so many years !
