Congratulations to Studio & Stage!

Congratulations to Studio & Stage on yet another negative feedback on eBay.

This brings their score to 85.2%, an all time low. In the last 6 months they have received 9 positive feedbacks and 4 negative - suggesting that almost half of their customers don't enjoy the wonderful service they would have us believe they deliver.

The good thing is they aren't selling very much through eBay. I hope that people who buy direct from their website do their due diligence and find this and other sites which expose S&S for what they are - cowboys.

Hi, we are looking for people who've had a bad experience with Richard Joss. We've started a facebook page to help bring people together on this. Please can you help spread the word? Good luck with this. My credit card company finally refunded my account after 6 months of trying to prove that these guys were crooks!

I had a torrid time with these cowboys, (sorry that's an insult to proper cowboys!!! lol). They were supposed to come and install my gantry system. They did not turn up and then said they would come later. I waited until 7 PM and they did not arrive and their phones were off. They had arranged the date at their own convenience and no pressure from me. I arranged a band photoshoot for the next day on the strength of the installation. They did not care. When I complained they said I was chucking my teddy out of my pram. I said I wanted to cancel and I got a torrent of abuse from the infamous Jenni. When I complained about their customer service, she asked what level of customer service I required. Any would have been ok as theirs was nil. I had also ordered a curtain track which I cancelled to more abuse. They sent out the gantry by courier with halof th bits missing. When I asked them to send the rest they blamed me and I had to fight them but still only received part. For the curtain track Jenni kept saying they had refunded but they never had. They then said they had lost my card details and asked for my bank details and they would transfer into my account. They did not. Luckily I had paid on my credit card and appealed to my card company and they got the refund. If I had not I would have never got it. If you are thinking of using them, then think again and run a mile. On top of that the gantry is rubbish and no parts are inerchangable with other systems. Buy from one of the reputable companies. You may have to pay more but you can sleep at night and get quality. Don't want to be anonymous as I would challenge them anytime. Richard is just as bad. A nightmare in Halifax. Steve Worksop

Oh shit. I'm currently in their hands, having been waiting some time for delivery (6 weeks). I think I've been had. I'm pretty furious but now by having read this page and others that easily sprang up on google I feeling more conned than furious.

I'm so sorry. There must be a way to stop these people.

Oh shit, too! I'm in their hands too, 4 months now... I should have searched the web before I buy from them, but his website was quite professional, and the first mails too. Today I discovered a lot of sites about them/him, I hope it's not too late for my good 500 GBP...
I'll be in touch with you. How can we communicate without posting here my email? I'm more than sure that he's watching all these sites...

We need to band together and do something to put a stop to these people.

Hi,
I purchased a photographic table and after waiting about 3 months it arrived damaged and the top did not fit. They agreed to refund back to Paypal but guess what it has not happened....

The website seems to have stop working but have the list of e-mail addresses they use(d).
admin@studioandstage.co.uk
bodleigh@blueyonder.co.uk
sales@studioandstage.co.uk
richardjoss@blueyonder.co.uk

plus a mobile no for Bodleigh
who was the name of the person I purchased the table from 07722940106.

For what it's worth I'm sending a letter to an address I have, under the sale of goods act 1979 and see what happens.

Maybe the BBC Rogue Traders would be interested in this ?

Let you know if I find anything out.

Hi All,
I am waiting for the BBC to respond and we'll see if they want to do a feature on this company.

Also thought if anyone Talented could do a video including the photos of the Studio & Stage Mob, music and post it up on YouTube - might get some hits.

I'll keep you posted.

Studio and Stage seems to have ceased trading. However, Robens Jibs and the ebay trader redsuzuki12 appear to be the same dodgy outfit selling poor quality jibs and dollys. Treat these with extreme caution.
